Quiet Day

We had our college quiet day today. Have I mentioned that I'm an extrovert? A day's silence frightened me somewhat. However, I actually really enjoyed it, once I got into it. I didn't follow the theme of the day ("Listening from the Heart", ironically), but sort of did my own thing, as God laid on my heart. As a result, I decided I really have to start doing some sport again. I'm hoping to go swimming about twice a week. Very gently at first. I guess it's better than nothing, which is the state of affairs at the moment.

Oh and I am in the process of writing an essay - hence this update. Avoidance tactics. Back to St Paul and his teaching on the Holy Spirit. *sigh*

Cycling is good exercise; I think I know where there's a bike you could use.

Hi Kat,

Being silent and listening to your heart is not an easy thing to do, but when you do do that, it is quite a good and worthwhile thing to do!

Love you loads,
Ash x
